This build project focused on remodeling an entire two-floor commercial space in the NoMad district to create Luminary, a dedicated, high-end co-working and networking space exclusively for professional women. 2MO’s role was a complete build-out in collaboration with GSA Architects, aimed at creating a productive, modern, and highly inviting environment.

The main work consisted of a full transformation of the two floors. 2MO constructed separate work and conference areas to maximize productivity, using glass sliding doors to bring natural light deep into the building and maintain an open, welcoming feel. 2MO installed two new kitchens and completed a comprehensive fit-out of the lower level, which included a new gym with a locker room and showers, as well as a dedicated beauty salon. To finalize the aesthetic, 2MO replaced all furniture and lighting throughout the space.

The outcome is a bright, welcoming, and modernized two-floor workspace. The separate, light-filled workrooms and state-of-the-art amenities—including the gym, showers, and salon—create an environment tailored to the needs of professional women, making the space both rewarding and productive for its members.

This project highlights 2MO’s ability to deliver a large-scale commercial build-out, creating a highly customized, multi-functional workspace that combines modern design, productivity, and high-end amenities.
