This retail project involved transforming an existing white-box commercial space into a high-end retail store for luxury leather goods in New York. The task was to deliver a sophisticated, custom showroom on a fixed, non-negotiable budget and an extremely restricted two-month timeline. The key challenge was creating an exclusive environment where customers could view products and, crucially, witness part of the bespoke fabrication process for ultra-high-end watch straps.

The action required a full-scale renovation executed almost entirely after business hours to accommodate the store’s schedule. We built extensive custom shelving and presentation cabinetry with integrated lighting and premium finish materials to showcase the luxury products. We installed new flooring, ceilings, and wall treatments, and performed selective electrical upgrades. Importantly, as the build partner, we played a crucial role in finalizing complex millwork details and providing creative solutions to resolve design challenges with custom pieces that required on-site adaptation to ensure they remained functional.

The result is a highly successful, fully transformed retail space that conveys warmth, exclusivity, and a luxurious atmosphere. The store features refined millwork, curved-corner showcases, and a layout organized into distinct reception, salon, and private fabrication areas. This thoughtful design allows the brand to offer a tailored, elite experience—including the crucial, partially visible process of custom strap measurement and design—all delivered on time and within the fixed budget, significantly elevating the brand’s presence in New York.
