The client initiated the design phase by ordering custom finishes from Europe and faced challenges with dimensional inconsistencies in the pre-ordered components and uneven walls in the existing structure. Later, 2MO was hired to execute the owner’s design by transforming the kitchen and adjacent living room of an older home into a high-end, functional hub.

The main focus was bridging the gap between the existing structure and the European components. 2MO had to implement on-site coordination and technical problem-solving to achieve precise alignment despite the non-plumb walls. To ensure a seamless, cohesive look, 2MO designed and fabricated several custom millwork pieces to interface with the prefabricated cabinetry, including built-in appliances and custom wine racks. 2MO also collaborated on selecting the backsplash and surface details to ensure the final aesthetic met the client's high standards. The entire installation was executed with precision craftsmanship to maximize the use of limited city space.

The result is a dream kitchen, praised for its quality and seamless finish. The new space successfully integrates complex custom and prefabricated components, overcoming the initial structural and detailing challenges. The project now serves as a central hub that is both highly functional and aesthetically refined, delivering the client’s vision from sketch to reality.
