This design-build project in the East Village was a comprehensive renovation aimed at elevating a family condo's form and function into a seamless and refined living experience.

The main task was to transform the kitchen and two bathrooms, along with key infrastructure upgrades, to create a home that is both welcoming and highly sophisticated.

Over seven months, the design and construction involved extensive interior work and system upgrades. The kitchen and two bathrooms were redone, featuring custom millwork and durable, high-end finishes. 2MO Studio upgraded the plumbing and electrical systems and installed a new AC unit to modernize the infrastructure. A key design element was the creation of a custom TV unit in the living room and a closet with a hidden door feature, blending innovation with elegance.

This project successfully translated the family's vision into reality, demonstrating how the close integration of design and construction can deliver a home that is modern, welcoming, and distinctly personalized. The bespoke cabinetry and contemporary design in the kitchen and bathrooms showcase a high level of finish, while the hidden door adds an unexpected feature to the living space. The condo balances comfort and refinement, supported by its modern infrastructure and carefully chosen fixtures.
