During COVID, the clients who lived overseas, purchased a condo in Sutton, East Manhattan, and wanted to achieve a highly modern and elegant aesthetic. This required a full design and gut renovation.

Over the 5-month project, 2MO installed new hardwood flooring throughout to create a unified, sleek foundation. The existing wall between the kitchen and hallway was removed to create an open layout and maximize natural light. The kitchen was redesigned with fully custom millwork, featuring a contrasting dark wood and light gray color scheme to add character. The sitting area now includes a sleek, custom TV unit in the living room, with sliding doors to conceal the screen for a clean, minimalist look. To integrate lighting, 2MO incorporated drop ceilings in the bedroom.

The result is a modern, polished home where every element contributes to a sophisticated, unified story. The kitchen serves as a contemporary centerpiece, and the open layout greatly improves the home's flow and functionality. The custom TV unit is both stylish and practical, while the new bedroom lighting enhances comfort. The entire project was delivered successfully with minimal disruption, allowing the clients to remain in the home while achieving their complete modern vision.
