Case Study: Boffi Kitchen Integration at Battery Park

In one of 2MO Studio’s signature collaborations with Boffi, we integrated premium kitchen, wardrobe, closet, and door systems into a high-end residence in Battery Park.

The client in Battery Park aimed to transform an apartment into a sleek, modern, and sophisticated home with a strong focus on luxury finishes and attention to detail. 2MO Studio’s scope was a design-build engagement over a seven-month period.

2MO Studio installed a brand-new Boffi kitchen with precision, ensuring all appliances were seamlessly integrated. The existing flooring was replaced with new hardwood throughout the apartment to create a unified aesthetic flow. In the bedroom, 2MO Studio added custom millwork to introduce both functionality and an element of architectural elegance. The kitchen, which became the focal point, was distinguished by a full slab of marble extending from the countertop up the wall behind the sink and cabinetry, unified by a grayish-white lacquer finish on the cabinet doors.

The outcome: a home that perfectly embodied Boffi’s design philosophy, with every drawer, cabinet, wardrobe, and door engineered to perform flawlessly for decades.

Case Study: Building Boffi's Madison Avenue Showroom

Located at 99 Madison Avenue in New York's NoMad district, the Boffi flagship showroom represents one of 2MO Studio's most ambitious collaborations with Boffi. This four-floor, approximately 20,000-square-foot space showcases the full spectrum of Boffi's offerings, from kitchens and bathrooms to wardrobes, systems, furniture, and ADL doors.

The project's complexity was magnified by its international coordination requirements. Santino Studio from Chicago led the architectural vision, ironwork vendors from Miami provided custom elements, and key designers and production teams in Italy supplied the core Boffi systems.

As general contractor, 2MO Studio managed multiple vendors, navigated New York’s complex permitting processes, and ensured every international component arrived and was installed to exacting specifications, all while meeting Boffi’s global launch schedule.

The showroom project presented unique challenges that highlighted 2MO Studio’s expertise in executing complex international design visions.

2MO Studio oversaw structural adjustments, including a complete terrace redesign and custom window installations that had to perfectly align with Boffi’s display requirements while meeting New York building codes.
