How We Process Our Projects

Free Consultation & Project MatchWe start with a brief call to understand your goals, timeline, budget, building type, and any constraints. Based on the scope, we pair you with the right Project Manager and schedule a site visit to assess conditions and logistics for a tailored renovation approach.

Site Visit & Plan ReviewDuring the site visit, we review the space, assess any existing plans, and note building or board requirements. Together, we explore layout options, material direction, and access/insurance needs to ensure the plan is practical and efficient.

Detailed Estimate & Scope AlignmentBased on the nature and complexity of your project, we’ll agree together on how to approach the estimate: (1) For some projects, we prepare a detailed itemized estimate from the start, and (2) In other cases, we first provide a general estimate to explore possibilities and clarify high-level choices. Once we align on direction and priorities, we then move forward with a detailed, itemized estimate for your full review and clarification. We walk you through the estimate in a virtual meeting, explain the scope, answer your questions, and discuss optional add-ons. This collaborative process ensures that timing, scope, and budget are fully aligned with your vision.

Agreement, Permits & Payment ScheduleOnce the scope is finalized, we prepare a contract and agree on a milestone-based payment schedule. We also take care of all practical matters: permits, board submissions, insurance documentation, and long-lead procurement. As soon as approvals and the initial payment are in, prep work begins.

Kickoff: Design & ConstructionFollowing the green light and initial payment, we begin the design and/or construction phase. You’ll have one consistent point of contact, regular updates, and quality checks at key milestones. The project concludes with a detailed final walkthrough and a comprehensive handover package.
